Hi Denian, I totally agree with you, we have a responsibility to embrace the mutli-literacies our students possess to help them become intrinsically motivated readers. As Tompkins,(2006)pointed out the role of effective teachers is to establish a community of learners in which students are motivated to learn and are actively involved in reading and writing. This community also extends to educators, we need to provide a community to ensure the successful and sustained infusion of technology in our delivery.
